Introduction to the Visualization Portal

Overview

Times: Friday, February 2, 9:30am - 12:30pm

Location: SCC 102.B

This short course covers using an easy-to-use web interface to perform visualization tasks. We will demonstrate the use of the TAMU Remote Visualization Portal and Open OnDemand, followed by an introduction to using the ParaView software. This short course is hands-on intensive.

Note: During the class sessions many aspects of the material will be illustrated live via a login to the TAMU Visualization Portal and the Open OnDemand Portal. Attendees are welcome to follow these parts with their own laptops. They will need to configure their laptops to use the TAMULink wireless network.
