Overview

The Summer PACES Research Training Workshop is a five-day event that focuses on introducing researchers to advanced cyberinfrastructure resources including frequently used interfaces and integrated development environments. This workshop will be held in Charleston, South Carolina at the Charleston Marriott from August 10-14th, 2026. This event is open to faculty, staff, and students looking to expand their computational skills in using advanced cyberinfrastructure, data science programming, AI/ML, and discipline specific workflows.

Tentative agenda includes:

Introduction to the Launch computing cluster
Working in Linux
Programming for Data Science
AI/ML Exercises
Bioinformatic and Life Science Workflows
Computational Chemistry Workflows
Individual Project Consultation
