Prerequisite(s): Active HPRC account, basic Linux skills

An introduction to HPRC's flagship computing cluster, Grace. This primer covers a variety of topics relevant to computing on Grace and other HPRC clusters, demonstrated through a live login session.

Note: if you are attending this class from off-campus, you will need to have the TAMU VPN set up to access the cluster. Refer to this Technology Services article for guidance on setting up the VPN.

Learning Objectives and Agenda

In this course, participants will:

• Log into the Grace cluster
• Learn the basics of the Open OnDemand portal
• Learn the basics of cluster computing with HPRC
