Primer: AI Coding Assistant

This course is a hands-on introduction to using the Jupyter AI Assistant on Texas A&M's ACES cluster. Attendees will launch a session via Open OnDemand, load the provided notebook, choose the HPRC-hosted model, and complete four short labs.

Participation
During the training, attendees are expected to log in to an HPRC cluster using their own computer and complete the instructor-led examples and exercises.
Learning Objectives
In this course, participants will:
- Launch a session on ACES via Open OnDemand
- Load a provided Jupyter notebook
- Set up a session
- Use AI-assisted debugging
- Build MNIST classifiers in PyTorch and TensorFlow
