In this course, we will explore the basics of storing, organizing, finding, managing, moving and munging the data you use in your research.

The goals of this session are to:
- Learn about the concept of the "life-cycle" of data
- Present a conceptual framework for the life cycle of data
- Present a case for managing your data in an organized way
- Learn about some tools and systems for storing, organizing, managing and moving your data.
This introductory course is intended to be discipline-agnostic.
