Hands-on Workshop for Using IBM PowerAI Software and Power9 Hardware

HPRC and IBM are offering a one-time hands-on workshop to learn how to use their PowerAI software (now Watson Machine Deep Learning Accelerator) on IBM Power9 AC922 hardware at TAMU on Wednesday, February 20, from 2:30 to 5:30pm. Bring your own laptop.

The schedule is roughly 1.5 hours on how to access and use various packages in the PowerAI software stack, along with adapting any existing workflows you use to the Power9 environment, followed by ~1.5 hours on how to use the PowerAI Vision software package. IBMers Glen Corneau and Max Yan (IBM Austin) will be the instructors and facilitators for this workshop.
