An introduction to JupyterLab/Notebook on the ACES cluster, which allows for interactive coding in several languages and documentation via Markdown. The instructor will lead participants through accessing ACES via Open OnDemand, launch a Jupyter Notebook job, and perform basic operations in notebooks.

Learning Objectives

Participants will:

• Start a JupyterLab/Notebook session on a cluster via the Open OnDemand portal
• Learn to manage notebooks
• Practice with both Python and Markdown

Note: During the class, attendees will complete the tasks and exercises along with the instructor on their own devices.
